The Consultant Dermatologist is a doctor specialising in the management and treatment of skin disorders such as eczema, acne, psoriasis, dermatitis and skin infections.

Usual Qualifications

The Consultant Dermatologist will usually have MRCP or FRCP (Membership or Fellowship of one of the Royal Colleges of Physicians) after his name.

The Consultant Dermatologist may be a Lecturer or Professor in Dermatology at a Medical School. He/She may be an Examiner for one of the Royal Colleges of Physicians.
